Highland Single Malt Whisky
Bottled By North Star Spirits 70cl / 49%
North Star Spirits have released another Mezcal-finished cask of Blair Athol 2006, presumably because it's allowed now, so why not?! Expect delicious peppery exotic fruit flavours.
This 14-year-old Blair Athol 2006 started life in a refill hogshead before being spending the last 19 months of its maturation in a cask that previously held Mezcal, Mexico's agave spirit (of which tequila is a sub-category). 196 bottles were yielded from the hogshead, at 49%.
