Released in Autumn 2022, Black Bottle Smoke & Dagger is the fourth batch of the Black Bottle brand's special edition Alchemy Series releases, and is clearly the spiritual successor to 2021's Black Bottle Island Smoke, which picked up a Master Award at the 2021 Scotch Whisky Masters.
Black Bottle Smoke & Dagger is one of the peatiest Black Bottle releases so far, with a chunk of the extra smokiness coming from the use of Bunnahabhain's Moine peated spirit. As with the previous Alchemy Series releases, Black Bottle Smoke & Dagger Alchemy #4 has been bottled at 46.3% without colouring or chill filtration.
Brilliant balance between sweetness and spice, whilst retaining a powerful smokey taste. For the price this has got to be a must, for any fans of peated whisky.

I bought this as a present then did the tour with my brother at Lindores Abbey distillery in Newburgh Fife.The bottle i bought from Whisky-online was cheaper than at Lindores ,very happy again and a very quick delivery.
