Christmas may start before Halloween now, but at least that means we get early delivery of delicious goodies like the now-traditional Big Peat Cask Strength Christmas Edition blended Islay malt whisky from Douglas Laing.
The 2021 edition of Big Peat's Christmas Edition blended malt whisky comes in at a relatively gentle-sounding cask strength of 52.8%, but with an Islay malt recipe including Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila and a teaspoon or two of Port Ellen we'll warrant that there's more than enough fiery phenols herein to warm your cockles on those cold Yuletide evenings.
