Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46%
An old bottle of Benriach's 15-year-old Pedro Ximenez sherry wood finish, a much loved bottling that ran for about a decade from the mid-2000s. The packaging and laser code on this particular bottle suggests it dates from around 2007-8.
These 15-year-old Benriach Pedro Ximenez sherry finishes were bottled in small batches and are well-judged drams, with the sherry adding uncomplicated fruity sweetness to Benriach's classic Speyside character, and at 46% this Benriach is approachable for newbies while retaining enough oomph for more experienced tipplers.

There are a lot of better and cheaper sherried single malts. This one is decent, but too young and I think this is overpriced. I wouldn't buy another bottle of this young single malt at this price level.
