Blended Scotch Whisky Arthur Bell & Sons Ltd 26 2/3 Fl Ozs / 70 Proof
A commemorative bottling of Bell's Extra Special Blended Scotch Whisky released to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee (1952–1977), marking the 25th anniversary of her accession to the throne. Bell's produced a number of royal commemorative bottlings during the 20th century, and these special editions have become highly collectible among both whisky enthusiasts and royal memorabilia collectors.
This 1977 release is presented in the traditional cream label and distinctive red "Extra Special" banner, accompanied by a commemorative neck tag bearing the dates 1952–1977 and the official Silver Jubilee emblem. Bottled at 70 Proof (40% ABV) in the traditional 26⅔ fl oz (75.7cl) format, it reflects the presentation style used by Bell's during the 1970s before metric bottle sizes became standard.
Although the blend itself follows Bell's well-established house style—built around malt whisky from Blair Athol Distillery and complemented by a selection of Highland and Speyside malts—it is the historical significance and original presentation that make this bottling an attractive piece of whisky and royal history, it commemorates one of the defining national celebrations of the late 20th century.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.
