Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 50.5%
A 1998 Balblair 23-year-old single cask bottled without colouring or chill filtration by Gordon & MacPhail in 2022 for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.
Cask 1075 was a first fill bourbon cask of 23-year-old Balblair 1998 that yielded 190 bottles at its natural cask strength of 50.5%. Balblair is one of those brilliant Highland distilleries whose spirit is blessed with the gift of extreme longevity in either bourbon or sherry casks, so this 23-year-old should be tremendous stuff.
