This Ardnamurchan AD/08:15 CK.529 came from a single American oak Oloroso sherry cask filled with Ardnamurchan's peated spirit in 2015. Cask 529 yielded 662 bottles at an exceedingly robust 58.1%, so no doubt this peated, sherried cask strength Ardnamurchan will be a particularly intense ride.

Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Red plum, capsaicin, barbeque sauce, pickled jalapeno. Hickory wood and beef jerky. Concord grape jelly and seaweed. Dr Pepper, cola bottles, strawberry coulis, blackcurrent leaf.
Palate: White grape juice, beach pebbles, tomato chutney, fatty avocado, deciduous forest and the sweet brine of a freshly shucked scallop. Ashy, rich and spicy.
Finish: Beautifully round and full, lingering finish.

I bought this as a present then did the tour with my brother at Lindores Abbey distillery in Newburgh Fife.The bottle i bought from Whisky-online was cheaper than at Lindores ,very happy again and a very quick delivery.
A fantastic line up of drams from Alistair's range, all presented at full cask strength. Alistair gave a very informative narrative of the independent bottling industry, with many anecdotes and experiences shared. The whiskies selected were all top class, and as always the hosting by Whisky Online was brilliant. Looking forward to the next tasting events guys.
