The Signatory whiskies are consistently good and this Ardmore doesn't disappoint. Ex-bourbon oak and a peated highland spirit, what could possibly go wrong? The whisky has a toffee loaded front-end taste profile, and finishes with a whiff of peat smoke. The addition of water mellows things slightly, with the toffee becoming more noticeable, the peat note keeps it quite refreshing. At £44, an absolute bargain.
