A 2009 Ardmore 13-year-old bottled in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration by Signatory Vintage for their Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
This 13-year-old Ardmore 2009 came from a small batch of four second fill bourbon casks that previously held Islay single malt whisky, and was released at the standard Un-Chillfiltered strength of 46%. Ardmore is one of the most famous peated Speysides and the Islay cask maturation should kick the phenolicity up an extra notch, so this looks like great value for the smokeheads out there.

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
