Lowland Single Malt Whisky
Bottled By North Star Spirits 70cl / 54.9%
Our first ever Annandale has arrived, courtesy of North Star Spirits! This 7-year-old Annandale 2015 came from an Oloroso sherry butt and we're expecting a stampede.
The original Annandale distillery operated from 1836-1918 before owners Johnnie Walker closed it down. The distillery was restored and rebuilt between 2011-2014 by David Thomson and Teresa Church, beginning operation at the end of 2014.
Annandale produces both peated and unpeated spirit - this North Star Annandale 2015 7-year-old is heavily-peated (not what one normally expects from the Lowlands) and clocks in at a sturdy 54.9%. Hopefully it's the first of many fine drams from one of the Lowlands' newest distilleries.
Please note that this North Star Annandale is Strictly Maximum 1 Bottle Per Customer / No discounts can be used against this product.
