Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 40%
A lovely old edition of Aberfeldy 25-year-old bottled in the early 2000s during an interesting time for the distillery, which had been sold to Bacardi as part of the Dewar's company in the deal that created Diageo in 1998.
Aberfeldy's whisky was so important to the Dewar's blend that Diageo had never bothered much with official bottlings other than a handful of Flora & Fauna editions. Bacardi changed things up, with this release a sign of their ambitions for the distillery and a harbinger of the full range makeover that occurred a couple of years later in 2005, when this short-lived 25-year-old was replaced with the 21-year-old.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
