This jack Daniel's 150th Anniversary bottling wasn't just a fancy bottle with the standard JD No.7 inside- the whiskey for this limited edition was aged in special slow-toasted barrels and was bottled at a very sturdy, characterful 100 US proof, equivalent to 50%, ensuring the whiskey is packed with flavour.
The resulting whiskey was a big hit with JD fans, and this limited edition 150th Anniversary bottling of Jack Daniel's is consequently becoming more and more difficult to find nowadays.

Great value bottle from Signatory - full of rich Madeira notes and slight edgy funk of the distillate come together beautifully! Takes water very well.
It’s a good flavour similar to the secret appetite (M) but with even more flavour. You have to add a bit of water to get it to 50% and the flavour is released in full.
