An 8-year-old Inchgower single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2023 by Douglas Laing for The Vault single cask range, exclusively selected for Y's Cask in Tokyo, Japan.

Matured in a refill barrel, cask number 17576, this Inchgower was bottled at a natural cask strength of 59% ABV, with a limited outturn of just 251 bottles.

Inchgower is a relatively understated Speyside distillery, known for producing a characterful, often slightly savoury spirit with notes of orchard fruit, malt and a subtle coastal influence. Its spirit is rarely encountered as an official single malt, making independent bottlings such as this an interesting opportunity to explore the distillery's individual style.

Part of Douglas Laing's The Vault collection, this single cask release was specially selected for the Japanese market through Y's Cask, offering a youthful, high-strength expression of Inchgower with the refill barrel allowing the distillery's character to remain at the forefront.
