Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gleann Mor Spirits Company 70cl / 58.5%
Back in stock
A single cask of Undisclosed Islay single malt whisky from the 2013 vintage, bottled as a 10-year-old without colouring or chill filtration in 2023 by indies Gleann Mor for their Rare Find series.
This 2013 Undisclosed Islay 10-year-old came was finished in a cask that previously held delicious sweet sticky Pedro Ximenez sherry and is a release of 421 bottles at a very hefty natural cask strength of 58.5%. These mystery Islay drams are always great value and this sherry-finished edition looks like a treat.

An exciting deep rich brown coloured liquid.
A compote of fruit together with dried grapes is lovely on the tongue.
Nicely sweetened syrup is evident too.
Invested in two bottles but will be ordering a third.
Great warming malt enjoyed by two. (One aka Pig)
I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
