An 11-year-old Blair Athol Highland single malt whisky, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2022 by Douglas Laing as part of The Vault series, exclusively selected for Y's Cask in Tokyo, Japan.

Matured in a refill barrel for 11 years, this single cask release was bottled at a natural cask strength of 53.4% ABV, without colouring or chill filtration. Drawn from cask number 15999, the outturn was limited to just 242 bottles.

Blair Athol is well known for its rich, malty character, often displaying notes of orchard fruits, honey, gentle spice and a distinctive nutty sweetness. Maturation in a refill barrel allows the distillery's character to remain at the forefront, with a more restrained influence from the oak.

Part of Douglas Laing's The Vault collection, this independently bottled Blair Athol is an interesting release, offering a relatively uncommon opportunity to explore the distillery's character through a single cask expression.
