The Lakes Distillery's The One series of blended whiskies takes another step with this Colheita Cask Finished blend, which has been bottled at 46.6% without colouring or chill filtration.
The word Colheita means 'harvest' in its native Portugal, where it is used to refer to grapes and wines from a single year that are destined to become vintage Port. After marrying together The Lakes spirit with selected single malt and grain whiskies from Islay, Speyside and the Highlands, the assemblage is married in Colheita port casks to add an extra layer of fruity flavour to The One Colheita Cask Finished blend.
