A lovely old bottle of the Crawford's Five Star Deluxe 12-year-old blended Scotch bottled at some point most likely in the 1980s, when Crawford's was part of Diageo forerunner Distillers Company Limited and held the license for the Benrinnes distillery.
This bottle remains in very good condition and Crawford's whisky from this era is both very tasty and great value. A textbook luxury old school blended whisky, Crawford's Five Star 12-year-old was a deluxe blend, meaning older whiskies were used and the proportion of malt whisky would likely have been higher than for the company's Three Star blend, which is also very good if you can find it.

Richly sherried and fruit driven and all the better for knowing that all proceeds will go the very worthwhile cause of Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance.
I bought this as a present then did the tour with my brother at Lindores Abbey distillery in Newburgh Fife. The bottle i bought from Whisky-online was cheaper than at Lindores ,very happy again and a very quick delivery.
