Black Bottle is a storied, historic blended Scotch whisky. Introduced in summer 2021, the Alchemy Series is the latest step in Black Bottle's continuing evolution. These  Alchemy Series whiskies represent the first new editions of Black Bottle since the old Black Bottle 10 year old was discontinued several years ago.

Bottled at 46.3%, Experiment 1 in the Alchemy Series is Black Bottle Double Cask, which is a blend of sherry-finished single malts married with a 12-year-old grain whisky from a red wine cask. If you're into premium blends and wine-finished whiskies, Black Bottle Double Cask will be a no-brainer.

Colour: Deep walnut (natural colour).

Nose: Dried fruits and walnuts with hints of raisin, oak and orange.

Palate: A burst of red berries enveloped in a thick and rich mouth-feel.

Finish: Dry and everlasting with notes of plump grapes, red wine and a whisper of burnt toffee.
