Lowland Single Grain Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 50.5%
A single cask 30-year-old Strathclyde 1987 single grain whisky, bottled in 2018 without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for their Extra Old Particular (XOP) series.
This 1987 Strathclyde 30-year-old came from a single refill bourbon barrel #12375 that yielded 222 bottles at a fulsome 50.5%. Grain whisky benefits hugely from extended ageing, and this lovely dram has developed a sweet, creamy, nutty palate with citrus, vanilla and spices.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

Delicious new make spirit! I see many good things ahead! Clean, well made and well worth every penny! Soft, peat and smoke, with crisp fruit. Almost creamy mouth feel
Can’t wait for the matured whisky!
