Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 55.3%
Rare to see Scapa these days - even the official bottlings are very thin on the ground. You can always rely on Gordon & MacPhail to come through with the goods though, thanks to their remarkable stock of maturing old casks from long-established supplier relationships.
This is a single cask of 2000 vintage Scapa, bottled, as the name suggests, at full cask strength of 55.3% after 20 years in a refill sherry hogshead. Gordon & MacPhail have been knocking it out of the park recently and this 20-year-old Scapa Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength looks like another winner.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Stewed fruits and lemon peel aromas lead to hazelnuts.
