Distilled at Mortlach in 2016 and matured for 10 years before being bottled in 2026 by Signatory Vintage for the 84th release in its popular 100 Proof Edition.

This Speyside single malt was finished in first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butts and bottled at the range's standard strength of 57.1% ABV (100 Proof). As with the rest of the series, it was bottled without chill filtration or added colour.

Mortlach is well known for its unusually complex distillation process, traditionally described as 2.81 times distillation. The distillery uses six stills of differing shapes and sizes, with selected portions of spirit passing through its distinctive 'Wee Witchie' spirit still. The resulting new make is noted for its weight and richness, making Mortlach particularly well suited to sherry cask maturation.

The first fill Pedro Ximénez finish brings an additional layer of rich sherry influence to Mortlach's character, while the 57.1% ABV bottling strength gives the whisky the robust character associated with Signatory's 100 Proof series.
