Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 61.8%
A very special Miltonduff 1983, bottled as a 37-year-old in 2020 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Private Collection. This Miltonduff 1983 is from a single refill bourbon barrel, Cask 727, that yielded just 52 bottles at an extraordinary 61.8%.
Quite an extraordinary colour on this one considering it's from a refill bourbon barrel, and as with all of G&M's Private Collection bottlings this should be absolutely superb.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet rich honey and mixed nuts aromas complement milk chocolate. A hint of tobacco emerges leading to soft marshmallow.
Palate: Citrus lemon flavours give way to poached pear and mature oak. Sweet notes of golden syrup with a light herbal edge.
Finish: A medium-bodied finish with subtle spice and cocoa powder.
