Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 48.4%
A guaranteed winner if ever there was one - 18 year old Laphroaig from a refill sherry butt. This Laphroaig is from the 2002 vintage and was bottled for Douglas Laing's Old Particular range in 2020 at their preferred strength of 48.4%, with a total of 314 bottles from the cask.
A rich gold colour promises plenty of sherried sweetness to balance out the dry ashy phenols: this should be absolutely delicious.
