Distilled at Inchgower in April 2013 and matured for 9 years before being bottled by Douglas Laing in September 2022 for their Provenance range.

This Speyside single malt was drawn from a single refill hogshead, cask DL15982, yielding 404 bottles at 46% ABV. As with other releases in the Provenance series, it was bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.

Douglas Laing's Provenance range focuses on single cask and small batch bottlings from distilleries across Scotland, generally bottled at 46% ABV and presented with details of their distillation, maturation and bottling.

Inchgower was established near Buckie in 1871, replacing the earlier Tochineal distillery after its owners were faced with a substantial increase in rent. The distillery was acquired by the town of Buckie in the 1930s before being sold to Arthur Bell & Sons, and much of its production has subsequently been destined for blended Scotch whisky.

Douglas Laing’s Tasting Notes: Fresh green apples and pears with hints of orange peel and lightly sugared cereal. Oily and mouth-coating with chewy toffee and cinnamon, followed by syrup, baking spices and lingering citrus.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
