This Cognac is notable for its mature flavours but youthful age. There are many complex flavours of spices, toffee, mocha and pineapple syrup with a long and delightful citrus tail of manderine peel; the sign of a good Grande Champagne cognac from around the heart of the top cru.
Hermitage 10 years old may be there entry level,but it really is something special. Not cheap,but quality never is.!

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
