Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 43%
Glenmorangie Claret Wood appeared in 1990 and, as the first ever release of a wine finished whisky from Glenmorangie, is a hugely important bottle in the history of Glenmorangie's development of their wine cask finishing policy, and in the broader history of the modern whisky market.
Glenmorangie Claret Wood was finished in red wine casks from a first growth house in Pauillac - so it must be one of Chateau Latour, Chateau Lafite or Chateau Mouton. The runaway success of this bottling led to a second edition and, soon afterwards, to the initial core range of wood finishes (Port, Madeira and Sherry) that helped revitalise the flagging single malt category in the 1990s.
History aside, Glenmorangie Claret Wood has always been extremely popular with drinkers as well as collectors, and is consequently now getting harder to find each year. A must-have bottle for any serious whisky collector.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

Dont know is it really Mcallan whisky but tjis is a trully tasty dram. With Signatory Vintage whiskies you cant go wrong. Its nice robust sherry bomb at this 100 prood i really enjoyed. Recommend
I appreciated a free sample of peated whisky with my purchase from you but this not impressed me. It was just averrage mediocre to be honest. Thanks DM
