A single cask Glen Flagler 1972 23-year-old Lowland single malt whisky released in 1996 by indie bottlers Signatory Vintage in their famous dumpy 'inkpot' bottles.
Glen Flagler is one of the rarest of Scotland's lost malt whiskies - the distillery was a side project at the Moffat grain distillery in Airdrie and was only produced between 1965-85, with the vast majority of the spirit always destined for the blending vats.
This 23-year-old Glen Flagler 1972 was bottled by Signatory without colouring or chill filtration from single cask 228442 and yielded 255 bottles at its natural cask strength of 51.3%. Only a few dozen casks of Glen Flagler's single malt were ever bottled, with the last appearing over twenty years ago; this Signatory bottling is known in collector's circles as one of the best examples for those who wish to taste this unicorn whisky.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
