Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: A. D. Rattray 70cl / 46%
A independent bottling of Glencadam 1991, matured for 16 years and released in 2007 by South African-based bottler Single & Single. Produced in collaboration with A. D. Rattray and selected by the Milroy's of Soho, this limited release was bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, preserving the whisky's natural character and texture.
Glencadam's reputation for producing elegant, fruit-driven Highland malt is on full display here. Distilled during a period highly regarded by, this whisky offers notes of honey, ripe orchard fruits, vanilla and citrus peel, supported by gentle oak spice and a soft, waxy maltiness. The palate is refined and balanced, leading into a long, clean finish with lingering sweetness and delicate floral complexity.
The Single & Single was an ambitious project that sourced and bottled Scotch whiskies for the South African market, often working with respected Scottish partners to secure high-quality casks.

I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
