Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46%
Distilled at Glen Garioch in September 2014 and matured for 8 years before being bottled in September 2022 by Douglas Laing for their Provenance range.
This Highland single malt was drawn from a single refill barrel, cask DL16335, and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring. A single cask release, with just 380 bottles produced.
Douglas Laing's Provenance range focuses on single cask and small batch bottlings from distilleries across Scotland, traditionally bottled at 46% ABV and presented without chill filtration or artificial colouring.
Glen Garioch is one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland, with records of whisky production at the Oldmeldrum site dating back to 1797. The distillery retains some traditional features, including a relatively small-scale production setup, and is known for a robust Highland style that can show cereal, orchard fruit and gently waxy characteristics.
Douglas Laing's tasting notes: Clean, crisp and creamy on the nose, with an early citrus twist followed by vanilla. The palate brings barley sugar sweetness alongside cereals and caramel, leading to a finish of dark sugars, cocoa, malt and gentle spice.
Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.

I drink many islands whiskies and somehow I keep coming back to my Scapa 25 for the uniqueness and coastal experience that I do not have with my others. If you’ve never tried a Scapa, this is the bottle to try.
