Distilled at Jamaica's renowned Worthy Park Estate in 2005 and bottled in 2015, this exceptional release from Habitation Velier celebrates a landmark moment in the distillery's history. It was produced using the brand-new double retort Forsyths pot still installed at Worthy Park in 2005, marking the estate's first rum distillation since production resumed after more than four decades. The still, built by Scotland's Forsyths, has since become one of the most respected pot stills in the Caribbean.

Aged entirely in Jamaica's tropical climate for 10 years, the rum experienced an extraordinary angel's share of over 64%, concentrating its rich and complex character. Bottled at its natural barrel strength of 57.8% ABV, with no added sugar, colouring or chill filtration, it offers an authentic expression of Worthy Park's distinctive heavy pot still style.

Expect vibrant aromas of ripe banana, pineapple, orange peel and vanilla, complemented by layers of toasted oak, spice, liquorice and the unmistakable high-ester Jamaican funk. The palate is bold, oily and intensely flavourful, leading into a long, warming finish packed with tropical fruit, pepper, molasses and oak spice.

An important early Habitation Velier bottling, this Forsyths WP 2005 is both a superb drinking rum and a highly collectible release that showcases the revival of one of Jamaica's great distilleries.
