A special limited-edition Edradour released to celebrate Andrew Symington’s 40 years in the whisky industry, a career that began in 1986.

This 6-year-old Edradour was distilled at Edradour Distillery No.1, the original distillery at Pitlochry, and matured in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads. Bottled at a robust 57.1% ABV, it is presented at natural colour and without chill filtration.

The release forms part of a pair of anniversary bottlings alongside an 8-year-old distilled at Edradour No.2, providing an interesting opportunity to compare whisky produced at Edradour's two distilling sites.

A richly sherried young Edradour produced to commemorate an important milestone for Andrew Symington, whose Signatory Vintage business has played a major role in independent Scotch whisky bottling since the late 1980s.
