Bottled in 2021, this Classic Malts Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition was assembled from a batch of 2006 vintage Dalwhinnie that received a secondary maturation in Oloroso sherry casks before bottling.
Being double-matured in traditional cask types, Dalwhinnie is usually one of the better Classic Malts Distillers Editions, and this Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition 2006 should be a delight with the Oloroso sherry casks adding extra fruit and depth to the distillery's mediumweight Speyside sweetness.
