Bottled by: Signatory Vintage 70cl / 43%

A single cask 24-year-old Caperdonich single malt scotch whisky bottled by Signatory Vintage without colouring. It was filled on the 30th November 1979 into cask number 3286, described only as 'oak' so probably a refill cask, and yielded 384 bottles at 43%. It was subsequently bottled over 24 years later on 4th March 2004.

Caperdonich was a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Rothes, Scotland, founded in 1898 as Glen Grant No.2. Known as "the secret well," it operated intermittently, closing in 1902 before reopening in 1965 and finally closing in 2002 before it was ultimately demolished in 2011.

Caperdonich distillery is owned by Pernod Ricard (via its subsidiary Chivas Brothers). Pernod Ricard retains the rights to the brand and releases remaining stock.
