A single cask 16-year-old Braes Of Glenlivet single malt scotch whisky bottled by Signatory Vintage without colouring. It was filled on the 25th April 1985 into cask number 9329, described only as 'oak' so probably a refill cask, and yielded 423 bottles at 43%. It was subsequently bottled over 16 years later on 26th October 2001.
Braes of Glenlivet Distillery (now known as Braeval) is a high-altitude, Chivas-owned Speyside distillery established in 1973. Renamed in 1994 to avoid confusion with the Glenlivet suffix, it is known as Scotland's highest distillery (350m) and produces a light, floral, and slightly dry single malt used primarily for blends like Chivas Regal.

I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
