Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2023, this 9-year-old Benromach Cask Strength Batch 2 was matured exclusively in first-fill Sherry and Bourbon casks and bottled at a natural strength of 59.7% ABV.
Produced at the family-owned Benromach Distillery in Forres, this release was created from a batch of just 20 casks. Bottled with natural colour and without chill filtration, it showcases Benromach's traditional Speyside character at full cask strength.
The distillery describes rich Sherry and cinnamon aromas, with orange and stewed fruit flavours followed by a touch of smoke.
