Distilled at Arran in 2014 and matured for 8 years before being bottled by Douglas Laing for their Provenance Coastal Collection in December 2022.

This single cask Arran was matured in a refill barrel and bottled at 46% ABV, without chill filtration or added colouring. A limited release of 340 bottles.

Douglas Laing's Provenance range showcases single malt whiskies from individual distilleries, generally bottled from a single cask or small parcel of casks with an emphasis on natural presentation.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes: Freshly cut grass alongside buttery biscuits and citrus peel on the nose, followed by thick and creamy cereals with baking spice on the palate. The finish brings sweetly spiced barley, salted caramel and toasted oak.

Arran Distillery at Lochranza began production in 1995, becoming the first legal distillery on the Isle of Arran for more than 150 years. Its spirit is generally produced without peat, allowing the distillery's fresh, fruity character to remain prominent, making refill casks particularly well suited to showcasing the underlying malt.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
