An old edition of Aberlour's much-loved A'bunadh cask strength sherried Speyside single malt whisky.  This particular bottle is from Batch 61, which was bottled from a small batch of Oloroso sherry butts and released in 2017.

A'bunadh is a no-age-statement Aberlour assembled exclusively from Spanish Oloroso sherry butts and bottled without chill filtration at full natural cask strength -  a whopping 60.8%, in this case. Originally introduced at the end of the 1990s, Aberlour A'bunadh took the whisky scene by storm in the first years of the new millennium, garnering widespread acclaim. This has been Aberlour's most popular expression with single malt fans ever since.

In 2025, after 84 batches of full term Oloroso sherry-matured a'bunadh, Aberlour reset the batch numbers to reflect that modern versions of a'bunadh now contain some whiskies matured in American rather than Spanish oak and are finished, rather than fully matured, in sherry casks. These earlier editions of Aberlour a’bunadh, however, remain the benchmark in great value cask strength sherried Speyside whisky.
