That Boutique-y Whisky Company are really diversifying their offering these days, as evidenced by their Spring 2021 Australia Series releases. Thankfully their labels remain as recognisably subtle and unassuming as ever.
This is TBWC's first bottling from the Fleurieu distillery, based about 50 miles south of Adelaide. Fleurieu's stills are modelled on Caol Ila's, and the distillery uses very long fermentation times - 8 days - to create a spirit with bags of character.
This Fleurieu 3-year-old from That Boutique-y Whisky Company is from an ex-sherry cask that yielded 260 of TBWC's traditional 50cl individually numbered bottles at a strength of 49.5%.
