A small batch of Springbank's heavily peated single malt Longrow 2007 9-year-old Campbeltown single malt whisky released by the distillery at full cask strength a month before its tenth birthday in 2017. This bottling was an exclusive for members of the Springbank Society.
Bottled without colouring or chill filtration, this 9-year-old Longrow 2007 came from a small batch of fresh hogshead casks that had previously contained the Bordelais sweet wine Sauternes, adding fresh honeysuckle and apricot notes to Longrow's industrial peatiness, and was a small batch of 1134 bottles at a natural cask strength of 56.3%.
