A small batch 'GF' 20-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released in 2026 by Glaswegian indie bottlers Living Souls. We are reliably informed that this whisky is from Glenfarclas distillery.
This 20-year-old GF single malt whisky came from a small batch of first fill bourbon barrels, which is pretty unusual for Glenfarclas and always fun to see. The distillery is justly celebrated for their sherried house style, but the spirit also matures fantastically well in bourbon wood, and this 20-year-old, which has been bottled at a hearty 48% without colouring or chill filtration, should be fantastic bang-for-your-buck.
