Bowmore's Vintner's Trilogy was a grape-inspired trio of prestige bottlings released in 2017/18 featuring whiskies matured in wine, port and sherry casks. This small batch 26-year-old Bowmore Vintner's Trilogy was the second release in the series and spent the first half of its maturation in ex-bourbon barrels before a second 13-year ageing period in French wine barriques. A highly rated Bowmore among collectors, this whisky would have been distilled in the early 1990s and was a limited edition of just 300 bottles at its natural cask strength of 48.7%.
