An old bottle of Ardbeg Perpetuum Bicentenary Islay single malt whisky. This is the special Committee Only advanced release of Ardbeg Perpetuum, which was released to members of the Ardbeg Committee at the higher strength of 49.2% in 2015.

The official launch of Ardbeg Perpetuum made its debut during Feis Ile, the Islay Festival of Whisky & Music in 2015, which was special for Ardbeg as it was the distillery's Bicentenary year. 

Ardbeg Perpetuum was a careful combination of old and young whiskies from both bourbon and sherry casks bottled at a hearty drinking strength of 47.4%. Although demonstrating plenty of character, Perpetuum was a rather restrained Ardbeg in terms of phenols, with a gentle smoky thread among sweet patisserie and fruit flavours.
