Description

Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 55.4%

A special 24-year-old Jura single malt bottled by Douglas Laing for its prestigious XOP Black Series. Distilled in September 1998 and bottled in June 2023, this whisky was matured in a single refill hogshead before being bottled at 55.4%.

This release was created to celebrate two milestones: the 105th anniversary of the Royal Company De Monnik Dranken and the 75th anniversary of Douglas Laing. Just 228 bottles were produced, with the release selected by Fred and Cara Laing and bottled exclusively for the Netherlands.

Presented at natural colour and without chill filtration, this is a particularly limited example of long-aged Jura from an independent bottler. This bottle is Bottle No. 001 of 228, adding further appeal to an already scarce commemorative single-cask release.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
