A wonderful old 1980s bottle of Strathisla 12-year-old, most likely bottled towards the end of the 1980s. This will be a gentle, old school sherried Speyside treat.
These cream label Strathisla 12-year-olds were among the first proper OBs of Strathisla in the modern era, after owners Chivas Brothers began doing their own proprietary bottlings instead of leaving everything up to Gordon & MacPhail, who had been doing quasi-official licensed bottlings of Strathisla for decades.
