Lowland Single Grain Scotch Whisky

Cambus is another of those grain distilleries that don't get the recognition it deserves. We've tried this on several occasions and if tasted blind you wouldn't guess it was a grain.
It seems to have that old school profile we love so much.
Cambus was founded in 1823 and grew substantially in size over the next one hundred years. In 1914 the distillery was mothballed due to a fire that almost destroyed everything. The distillery was not rebuilt until 1938 and in 1993 closed it's doors permanently.
