This Speymalt Macallan 2005 18-year-old was bottled from single cask 6864, which we're guessing must have been a sherry butt as the outturn was 623 bottles at a mighty natural cask strength of 57.3%. There's no such thing as a sure thing in the whisky world, but a single cask sherried Macallan 18-year-old at full cask strength from Gordon & MacPhail is as close as you'll get.
I can only say the service was excellent. This item was bought as a gift for Christmas so can’t comment as yet
