A late 1990s to early 2000s export bottling of Inver House Green Plaid Blended Scotch Whisky, produced and bottled by Inver House Distillers Ltd. in Airdrie, Scotland. This 75cl edition was bottled at 40% ABV specifically for the Venezuelan market, featuring a Spanish-language front label and imported by Marco Comercializadora S.A. of Caracas.
Green Plaid was one of Inver House's long-established blended Scotch whisky brands, created as an approachable everyday blend with a smooth, light profile built around Highland and Speyside malt whiskies. Although never as widely recognised as some of the larger international blends, it developed a loyal following across several export markets throughout the late twentieth century.
This export edition is an increasingly uncommon survivor and an interesting example of Inver House's international presence during the period.

Another great experience dealing with thebwhisky online shop, packaging was very good and the bottle is safely stored away in my collection.
Highly recommended
I really shouldn't share how good this whisky is as I don't want it to sell out. One of the few non sherried releases in this series and therefore quite different from most I have tried before. Absolutely delicious whisky.
