A 1966 single cask Glen Garioch bottled exclusively for Oddbins in the 1990s. Almost all Glen Garioch made prior to 1975 was heavily peated with the resulting style being not dissimilar to the great Broras and Ardbegs of the same eras.
To taste, these distillates offer a myriad of intense, oily, phenolic and farmy characteristics with layers of wax, huge smoky notes, luscious fruit and endless further sub-complexities.
These legendary vintages for Oddbins are classic examples and among the finest expressions of this historical Glen Garioch style.
