A bottle of Balvenie 16-year-old French Oak Speyside single malt whisky, which was first introduced in 2022.
Balvenie French Oak is aged in traditional American oak casks for 16 years before being finished for several months in casks that were previously home to the splendid French fortified wine Pineau de Charentes. This splendid Pineau-finished Balvenie 16-year-old is bottled at a hearty 47.6%, allowing its delicious grapey sweetness to shine through.
