An old bottle of Four Bells Old Navy Rum, a popular dark rum brand bottled by the London firm Challis, Stern & Co. This bottle comes from some point after 1966, when Guyana became an independent state.
Four Bells was a dark Guyanese rum that at one point in the 1970s was the de facto 'house' rum for the British Merchant Navy, though the brand now seems to be defunct, sadly. A rich, flavoursome demerara rum bottled at 75 UK imperial proof (43%) and packed with chocolate, prune, molasses and tobacco notes.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.
